FAQs
IS THERE ANYTHING I NEED TO DO BEFORE COMING ON A SUNDAY?
In short, no. There’s no need to register, sign up for anything, or even register kids as they can be signed in and out on the day. Just come along!
WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SERVICE LOOK LIKE?
We normally have a brief welcome, roughly 20-25 mins of sung worship, some brief announcements, a thirty minute talk, a closing song and a final blessing.
WHAT IS THE DRESS CODE?
A smile. Other than that, we don’t have a dress code, and most people are relatively informal in what they wear. However if you feel more comfortable wearing something more formal, feel free to do so.
WHAT DOES THE KIDS WORK LOOK LIKE?
On a Sunday morning, the kids work is divided into two groups, Hope Tots for any kids too young for primary school, and Hope Kids for all primary school aged kids. They both are available from the start of the service, and you can find out more details in the ‘Kids & Youth’ section of this website.
IS THERE PARKING?
Yes there is, including disabled parking for those who need it. However most of our spots fill up pretty early, and so you may find you need to park on the lane that comes down to the church from the main road, which you are welcome to do.
I'VE BEEN COMING ALONG AND ENJOYING THE SERVICES. HOW DO I GET MORE INVOLVED?
Wonderful. We have our New To Hope lunches, small groups, and our teams, all of which you can read more about in our Get Connected section.
