Having sensed a call to ministry at the age of 17, Jamie went to Bible College in Uppsala, Sweden, where he met his now wife Dany.

From there they returned to Northern Ireland, and Jamie helped launch a church planting network (ARC Ireland). After that Jamie was both a site pastor and had a discipleship pastoral position with CFC Belfast, and then he was Central Location Pastor for C3 Church in Cambridge.

They returned to Northern Ireland again in late 2020, and began attending HOPE Church. Jamie became Associate Pastor for HOPE in September 2022. In 2023 he launched a YouTube channel dealing with Christianity and culture, which has since reached millions of views. 

When the Lord led Craig Cooney, then Senior Pastor of HOPE, to follow his call elsewhere, Jamie was asked to lead the church, and was appointed as Senior Pastor in June 2026.

Jamie’s aim in ministry is faithfulness to the word of God, perseverance in prayer, fullness of the Holy Spirit, and fruitfulness in pursuing the Great Commission. 

He has been married to Dany since 20111 and together they have two sons, Jack and Caiden.
